Don't get me wrong, this comic is funny...however this note is related to a message you posted months ago. I have not been good at keeping in touch with anyone as of late, you know why. But since my concert is over...hooray (it went really well) and I don't want to start grading the stack of papers I have in my office I have been checking up on the lives of my friends and family via cyberspace. Thanks for listing me as a mother you admire. Though I am not sure I really deserve such a compliment it makes me feel validated for my efforts. I do love being a mother. It is absolutely the best decision I have made yet. Hopefully, Lola will not end up too traumatized because of the lifestyle I choose and force her to live. Julie, I love and miss you so much. Take care and we will chat soon...maybe I could even stop in for a weekend. I totally understand the life of a student and a student spouse...so how about you tell me which weekends would work best for you and Stas and I can look at my planner and see if any of the dates jive. I am specifically thinking about early November and early December...maybe early February. If nothing works for now, we will plan for later. I just want to steer clear of weekends filled with tests for Stas and other relatives and friends competing for your attention. Enough for this comment box. P.S your "new do" is fabulous!
This is totally unrelated to this post but if you ever EVER need someone to talk to about whatever, I am here for ya. I will listen to every word and not make you feel like a nerd for calling. I know lots of people say stuff like that but I really mean it. And if you don't need to talk and this comment is completely off base... well, so be it.
