Bjorn is designed like a 5pt safety/parachute harness.  I dare her to hang in one of those for ten minutes.  Adults have actually been known to pass out and DIE in that position for long periods of time.  Safety harnesses have been COD for workers who have fallen, but couldn't   The body is not designed for that sort of blood flow.  If we are upright like that, we need to use our leg muscles to prevent all the blood pooling in our legs.  If it's down in our legs, it's NOT up in our brains.  Last time I checked, that was kind of important.   It is never a good idea to hang by your crotch for any considerable length of time, no matter what your age.

Add to that, the natural position for an infant's back and spine is a C-shape, not the S-shape of an adult spine.  A physical therapist should know that.  Bjorn tries to force an S-shape position before their backs are ready.  I think someone probably already posted the page that info comes from.
With each step, a forward facing baby in a Bjorn gets his knees jerked backward.  Not good for knees either.  Especially knees that don't have the protection of a kneecap yet.  Watch them sometime, it happens.  Physical therapist should know that too.
